Tetiana Tereshchenko
Senior Producer
My name is Tanya (short for Tetiana) and I’ve been working in CDPR for more than 8 years now.
Ever since I got my first PC and access to the Internet, I knew that making games would be my dream job and I still, to this day, have random “pinch me” moments whenever I remember that my dream has actually come true.
I first started my journey in CDPR as a QA on GWENT (standalone version of the card game from Witcher 3), then moved to the Localization team as a Project Manager and, finally, joined the Cyberpunk team as a Producer in the last years of development of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Currently I’m working on Cyberpunk 2 where I have been helping build art teams from the very beginning of the project.
My favorite part about being a producer is that there is actually no single set in stone way you can approach helping your teams - I know it might sound counterintuitive, considering that a producer’s job is also to set boundaries and organize, but it is true! Yes, a producer is not drawing, designing or writing anything that will go directly into the game but you can still flex your proverbial creative muscles by finding the best solution to the wide variety of problems that you encounter on a project. As an added bonus, the skills you can learn in this line of work are pretty useful in your personal life - show me a person who would say that their life got more difficult when they’ve mastered time management, communication and conflict resolution skills 🙂
When I’m not at work, you can find me in a cinema watching weird European art-house films, going to pilates classes, travelling or watching anime and reading sci-fi books at home with my two cats.
I can help you learn more about, among many other things:
- game development phases and processes, from the early vision stages all the way to actually releasing the game;
- time management and self-organization skills;
- building relationships and effective communication in a team, conflict resolution;
- main game production principles, especially in creative teams;
- effective decision making and planning;
- using Jira and other project management tools.
